Do you offer prints?

I retired my print store a while ago as it simply wasn’t worth the expense to maintain. If you’re interested in prints you can get in touch with me and we can discuss potential options, but I currently have no plans to launch another store anytime soon.

Can I license you images?

Can I use your photos?

Do you accept guest posts?

Nope! This blog is entirely written by me. Please do not send me your guest post pitches; they will be ignored.

Will you tell me where X is located?

If I haven’t made the location available in whatever blog post or social media post you’re asking about, then probably not.

Can I hire you to shoot my wedding or event?

Sorry, but I do not shoot weddings, events, or portraits, though I’m flattered by your interest!

Is your work AI generated?

Absolutely not! All of my images, blog posts, and all other content is created by me. I’m personally not a fan of how much AI is taking over creative works. You can read more about my AI Policy here.

What happened to your newsletter?

After years of running a newsletter, I decided that it was finally time to retire it. I decided it was time to quit having to manage it. As such, I no longer store anyone’s data for the purposes of sending a newsletter.

What service do you use for your website?

This website is a completely static website built with Hugo. I built the theme from scratch myself and have designed the site to be as fast and lightweight as possible. It uses as little CSS and JavaScript as I can get away with while still achieving the functionality I want.

So this website isn’t built on WordPress?

Nope! You can stop scanning it for WordPress vulnerabilities now ;)

Does your site have tracking?

Nope! There’s no analytics (outside what I could ascertain from server logs) of any kind on this site.

I’ve seen references to “Serial Photog” referring to you or this site. Why?

When I first launched my photography site around 2015, I launched it under the brand “Serial Photog”. My pervious usernames on social media was @serialphotog and the website was at SerialPhotog.com. Over time, I shifted my “brand” (boy, I hate that term) to simply be my own name. With that said, there are still plenty of references to “Serial Photog” around and going to SerialPhotog.com will still take you to this very website!
