Details about the sharing and attribution rules for my images.

All of my photography is licensed under an Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0) license.

You are free to:

Share – copy and redistribute the work in any medium or format.

Under the following terms:

  • Attribution – If you wish to use/share any of my work for non-commercial purposes, please credit Adam Thompson AND link back to AdamThompsonPhoto.com DIRECTLY next to the image so it can be easily seen (but in no way suggests that I endorse you or your use of the work).
  • Noncommercial – You may NOT use any photos or content contained on this website for commercial purposes without prior permission from Adam Thompson. Commercial usage includes using any of my pictures or content to drive traffic to any website or platform that generates revenue of any kind. Please reference the commercial usage page.
  • No derivative works – You may not alter, transform, or build upon this work.

Examples of Non-Commercial Usage

To be considered non-commercial use, you cannot generate revenue of any kind from the following. This includes, but is not limited to, ads, affiliate links, and paid products. Simply stated, if you make money from any source tied to the platform where you are to share my work, it's considered commercial use. This includes using the images on social media to drive traffic to a website that serves as a source of revenue.
