When you think of arches, what comes to mind? For many, it’s the deserts of Utah. For some, it may even be some bizarre landmark in Missouri. For almost everyone, however, it’s likely not Appalachia. Most just don’t realize the myriad of arches that this area of the Eastern United States has to offer. The Arches of Appalachia is my ongoing project to document as many of these geological wonders as possible.
